Laura Osiadacz

Serving as an advocate and leader for Kittitas County is more than a role for Laura; it's a calling that has been nurtured over time through her upbringing, education, and deep love for rural America. A seventh-generation Washingtonian, Laura's roots extend from the farmlands of Eastern Washington to the evergreen forests of the Snoqualmie Valley. Having called Kittitas County home for the past thirty-two years, she first settled in Hyak at Snoqualmie Pass at the age of eleven.

While pursuing her college education in Ellensburg, Laura was captivated by the region's enchanting open fields, green valleys, and expansive skies. It was during this time that she met her husband, a fifth-generation resident of the Roslyn area. Following graduation, Laura made Roslyn her permanent residence, dedicating herself to raising her family in this vibrant community.

Since her appointment as Kittitas County Commissioner in 2016, a position she was honored to be re-elected to in both 2016 and 2020, Laura has been steadfast in her commitment to the citizens of Kittitas County. Looking ahead, she remains enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue working for the betterment of the community she proudly serves.
